Sausage Balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1lb sausage
  • 1/4 c. onion
  • 1 (16 oz.) can sweet (Bavarian) sauerkraut-drained
  • 4 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 T. bread crumbs
  • 2 T. parsley flakes

DIRECTIONS

Cook and drain sausage and onions; cool. After sausage and onion has cooled, add remaining ingredients and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Shape into 1 inch balls and roll in 1/2 cup flour and 1 cup bread crumbs. Dip in mixture of 2 eggs and 1/4 cup milk, then again in flour mixture. Deep fat fry for 2 to 3 minutes, just until browned.

SAUCE

  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Tabasco sauce (optional)
