Sopapilla Cheesecake

INGREDIANTS:

  • 2  (80z) packages of cream cheese
  • 2 (8oz) packages of crescent roll dough
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c butter melted
  • 3/4 c cinnamon sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Unroll  one package of crescent rolls and flatten into the bottom of a 9×13 Pyrex dish
  2. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl
  3. Spread mixture over the flatten crescent rolls
  4. Unroll second package of crescent rolls and place on top of cream cheese mixture
  5. Pour the 1/2 cup melted butter on top of the crescent rolls
  6. Top with cinnamon sugar
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes (we like it to be a little crispy on top)

Cinnamon sugar mixture can be made by combining 3/4 c sugar and 1 T cinnamon

This recipe is amazing served with your favorite mexican entree or with a cup of coffee for breakfast!
